Terms & Conditions

Who you are contracting with. LockIn is provided by AR Studios ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, buying LockIn Pro, or continuing to use LockIn, you agree to these Terms. If you use LockIn for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind that organisation.

The service and your licence. LockIn provides study timers, calculators, planning tools, social features, and gamification. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the features included in your plan. Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use. Do not use LockIn unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; harass others; infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; upload malware; probe, scrape, or interfere with security; reverse engineer or resell the service; evade technical limits; automate sessions; fake XP; or manipulate leaderboards.

Your content. You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us a limited licence to host and process it only as needed to operate LockIn. You must have the rights to that content. Report alleged infringement through the support option in the app; we may remove content and suspend repeat infringers.

Our intellectual property. LockIn, including its software, design, documentation, branding, and original content, belongs to AR Studios or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.

Payments and subscriptions. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel a subscription to stop its next renewal; access continues through the paid period.

Availability and accuracy. LockIn is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or perfectly accurate operation, and LockIn does not guarantee grades or academic outcomes. To the fullest extent allowed by law, implied warranties are excluded.

Suspension and termination. We may restrict or end access for a material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations. We may reset manipulated statistics. You may stop using LockIn at any time. Subject to legal retention duties, account data may be deleted after termination.

Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us through Paddle in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including fraud or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes and questions. We may update these Terms and will post the revised version here. Continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions can be sent through the support option in the app.
